SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Springfield schools will implement changes to the 2025-26 school calendar due to state law requirements.
State law outlining when classes can start will push the first day of class to Aug. 25, one week later than this year’s start date. The later start will move the final day of the school year to May 27, 2027.
