‘Escalated’ student, gun threat under investigation at Vancouver school

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A reported threat put the Jim Tangeman Center in Vancouver under lockdown Thursday morning.

Vancouver police told KOIN 6 News that two students were detained after “staff learned that a student made a threat that they had possible access to a firearm.”
