A Mercedes-Benz owner recently shared their frustrating experience with the luxury car brand’s service center on social media. The user, who purchased a new 2023 GLC Coupe in November 2022, reported that their vehicle started showing a low battery error message after just three years. Despite driving the car daily and keeping it in a garage during winter, the error persisted. The user took the car to a Mercedes service center, where it was kept for four days. The service center denied the battery issue was covered under warranty and charged the user $450 for a battery diagnostic. The user was then told there was nothing wrong with the battery, but the low battery error was still displayed on the dashboard when they drove away.
