ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Thanksgiving is just around the corner — but not every Georgian can afford to put a turkey or mashed potatoes on the table.
About one in eight adults and one in six children in north Georgia are food insecure, according to the Atlanta Community Food Bank. That’s why organizations are stepping up to make sure families can enjoy the holiday with full stomachs.
