Boston police officers have taken two juveniles into custody following a shoplifting incident on Boylston Street in the South End. The suspects, both 14 years old, were apprehended after police responded to a call about a theft in progress at 776 Boylston Street around 11:37 AM yesterday. Descriptions and movements of the alleged perpetrators were relayed to the officers in real-time by Boston Police Operations.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers spotted the pair donning the stolen coats near the intersection of Boylston Street and Exeter Street.
