In a recent social media post, a 34-year-old single dad from Fort Wayne opened up about his struggles to make friends. The man, who is also a business owner, shared that he spends most of his time either with his son or working on his business. He confessed that he’s been feeling burnt out and is in need of some variety in his life. Despite being introverted and not particularly adept at meeting new people, he has tried to build a community by starting a local dad’s group. However, he’s found it challenging to get other dads to meet up and hang out. With winter approaching, he’s also concerned about the limited activities available. He’s explored various Fort Wayne calendars but hasn’t found anything that particularly interests him. He enjoys concerts, working out, strategy board games, disc golf, and outdoor activities.
