ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, most Alachua County government offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27–28, with the exception of emergency services and residential waste/recycling services.
Regularly scheduled curbside residential waste and recycling pickup will be delayed one day for each Thursday and Friday. This means that Thursday’s regular pickup will occur on Friday, and Friday’s pickup will be on Saturday. The regular schedule will resume on Monday, Dec. 1…
