In July 2024, the Invictus Task Force began investigating several Cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators identified Chadwick Joel Branch, 56, as a suspect. Authorities executed search warrants at internet service providers, homes, and businesses as part of the investigation.
On November 20, 2025, Reidsville Police Department arrested Branch with help from the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
