A well-known TikTok content creator, recognized online as Girlalala and followed by nearly 300,000 people, was shot and killed in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. Her boyfriend, 25-year-old Shanoyd White Jr., has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with her death.
Deputies and firefighters from the Broward Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene Friday evening. Authorities found the influencer in the front passenger seat of a vehicle shortly after 7 p.m. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the shooting occurred after an argument inside White’s car. A firearm believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered near the vehicle.
