Marshals capture Memphis man with felony warrants in Grenada, MS

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 26-year-old man was captured in Grenada, Mississippi, by U.S. Marshals after being wanted by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) since October.

Tra-Shawn Robinson had felony warrants out for his arrest for the following charges: aggravated assault, domestic assault with bodily harm, aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and vandalism.

SCSO stated they requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force to apprehend Robinson. The U.S. Marshals found information that Robinson left the Memphis area and fled to Grenada. This then prompted the fugitive task force to ask for assistance from the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force of Northern Mississippi.

And on November 19, U.S. Marshals say they successfully located Robinson at a residence in the 100 block of West Monroe Street in Grenada. They reported he had barricaded himself in the home and refused to surrender…
