RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Almost a month after its grand opening, one Rutherford County nonprofit is feeding the most vulnerable members of its community for Thanksgiving.

This will be the first-ever Thanksgiving meal The Journey Home will provide families at their new location in Murfreesboro. The local nonprofit, Mission: Possible, is collaborating with The Journey Home on the event. They’ll be providing turkeys and side dishes.
Overall, they expect to serve around 150 meals. Leaders at The Journey Home said that as a Christian organization, they believe in serving people no matter where they are in life. And a Thanksgiving meal is one of the best ways to do just that…
