NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman escaped a hail of gunfire at a gas station in the Bordeaux area after police said her ex-boyfriend tried to kill her.
According to an arrest affidavit, officers were sent to the 3100 block of Clarksville Pike at approximately 3:13 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, to investigate reports of a shooting.
The victim allegedly told authorities that she received a text from her ex-boyfriend around 1 p.m., which stated that the next time he saw her, “he would shoot her.” A short time after that, he allegedly sent another message telling the victim to kill herself.

Hours after receiving the messages, the victim said she drove to Prince Gas Station on Clarksville Pike and pulled next to a gas pump. That’s when she noticed her ex-boyfriend—identified as 39-year-old Deandre Blackmon— was also at the gas station and began to approach her…
