A dozen friends and family members of a recently killed 18-year-old sat in a courtroom Thursday afternoon as new information was revealed about the late-October stabbing outside the Walmart on Whitemarsh Island.
Chatham County Police Department Detective Jonathan Puhala testified that 48-year-old Delano Middleton, who is accused of murdering J.T. Schroeder, stabbed the 18-year-old in the neck several times with a silver pocketknife that had a 3-inch blade.
Walmart security footage showed Schroeder entering the store only a minute before Middleton at around 5:25 p.m. on Oct. 23. According to Puhala, the two both went to the bathroom where they exchanged words. Puhala said Middleton told him Schroeder “exposed himself” in the bathroom…
