CLAY, N.Y. — Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced on Friday that a deal had been reached with a grandmother who faced eviction from her home in Clay.
Executive McMahon would not disclose the amount of the settlement between the county and Azalia King, 91. He said that the information would be provided once all the documents were signed, likely in December.
The deal comes after McMahon and King were in a gridlock. King lives in White Pines Commerce Park on Caughdenoy Road, where Micron is set to build its massive semiconductor facility. The county executive said the deal is the best outcome for the region…
