Syracuse, N.Y. — Two Syracuse city schools were let out early Thursday due to fumes from a nearby construction project, according to school officials.
The Institute of Technology at Syracuse Central, at 258 E. Adams St., and the Syracuse STEAM School, at 701 S. Warren St., sent students home early, according to Syracuse City School District spokesperson Amanda Malinowski.
Malinowski said an Onondaga County paving project affected the air quality on the schools. There are no reports of students or staff affected by the fumes, she said…
