We finally received the answer to the saga of Munchie’s in Amarillo. Or have we? They had a fire earlier this year, and we thought they might reopen. They did not. Instead, a sign went up saying it was for rent. There went that hope.
What Happened to Munchie’s After the Fire?
We were going to have to get used to the idea of something new possibly moving into the location at 3rd and McMaster. There was talk about it possibly being a new BBQ spot. That was on a post and was a statement from someone owning the building. It seemed possible.
The Rumors: What Locals Thought Would Move In
That seemed possible until a new sign appeared on the building. It looks like Munchie’s was indeed rented out. There will be new life in that building, and it could be soon.
