DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines School Board accepted the resignation of the district’s Chief Academic Officer.
During a meeting on Tuesday evening, the board voted to accept the resignation of Dr. Robert Lundin. The resignation is effective June 30, 2026.

According to a spokesperson with the district, the separation “was a mutual decision and not based on any discipline or misconduct by Dr. Lundin.”
