JOHNSTON, Iowa — The Ignit Sports Complex is going into foreclosure proceedings before construction has even started.
The city of Johnston said in a statement that it learned about the foreclosure proceedings on Monday.
“The City first learned of the foreclosure proceedings on Monday, November 17th, and is working with our elected officials to determine what this means as we move forward. Since becoming aware of the proceedings, the city has received one phone call from Chad O’Meara, owner and developer of Ignit Johnston, LLC.
