Suspect connected to JSU killing deemed not a flight risk, allowed to go back to Georgia

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A woman connected to the shooting death of a student on the campus of Jackson State University has been deemed not a flight risk and has been allowed to travel back to Georgia.

WLBT News was the only news organization inside Judge Yemi Kings’ courtroom on Friday when Elisha Brown was given a $100,000 bond, a GPS ankle monitor, and enrolled in the court’s pre-trial service program.
