LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department announced Friday it will conduct a seat belt enforcement project Nov. 26 through 30.
Officers will focus enforcement efforts across the city, especially during peak travel times around the Thanksgiving holiday. The enforcement effort is part of the national “Make It Click” campaign to create a visible, community-wide reminder that wearing a seat belt is a simple action with profound consequences.
