WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Two firefighters fell through the floor of a burning home while battling a fire early Friday in Park City.
The fire happened on North Kerman St., south of 69th Street and east of Hydraulic Avenue.
A battalion chief with Sedgwick County Fire District 1 said as crews from the Wichita Fire Department searched for someone who was reportedly trapped inside, two firefighters fell through the floor and into the basement, where the fire was burning. The firefighters were not injured and were able to escape.
