JeffCo road rage shooting suspect charged with 10 counts

The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office filed 10 charges against the man who allegedly shot a woman in the head after a road rage incident earlier this month.

Matthew Impellitteri, 56, appeared in court for the first time Thursday in front of First Judicial District Judge Mark Randall. He was represented by attorney Douglas Richards.

Impellitteri was charged with 10 counts in connection to the Nov. 11 shooting that left one woman in critical condition in Jefferson County. He faces four felony counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, illegal discharge of a firearm, tampering with physical evidence and two violence enhancers…
