We’ve heard about some people speeding dangerously fast on Interstate 25 for years in Northern Colorado, but this one may take the cake.
On November 10, just before midnight, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle driving at dangerous speeds on Interstate 25 near Wellington. Law enforcement attempted to intercept the vehicle, and the driver refused to pull over, heading northbound into Wyoming.
The vehicle then came back across state lines into Colorado and got off on the Carr Exit, and the suspect driving the vehicle turned the vehicle lights off. The vehicle drove for another 45 minutes at reckless speeds, but officers lost sight of the vehicle.
Passenger Arrested After Vehicle Found Abandoned
At approximately 12:45 a.m. on November 11, a deputy found the vehicle parked near Weld County Road 15 and Weld County Road 116 with a female passenger inside.
