Reno judge sets $250K bail for downtown kidnapping suspect

A Reno judge has set bail at $250,000, bondable but without a 10% cash option, for 35-year-old Diego Ortega Noria, who is accused of kidnapping a woman in downtown and zip tying her arms together.

If Ortega Noria does post bail, the court outlined several strict release conditions. He would be required to stay on house arrest, wear an ankle monitor, and he is not allowed to have any guns or weapons.

According to court documents filed in Reno Justice Court Wednesday, Ortega Noria is accused of kidnapping the woman outside the West 2nd Street Bar around 4 a.m. on November 16.
