Yamhill County, OR – Man Arrested: Suspect in High-Speed Pursuits Caught Saturday

Amity, OR – A man accused of sparking multiple high-speed pursuits across Yamhill and Polk counties over the past two weeks was arrested Saturday after deputies say he attempted to flee on foot from a rural cemetery.

According to the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, deputies first attempted to stop a white Acura sedan on November 3, 2025, around 8:15 p.m. in Amity. The driver, allegedly identified as Keith Edwin Becker, reportedly had an outstanding warrant and was suspected in recent theft and burglary cases. Deputies say Becker fled at speeds over 100 mph before the pursuit was terminated on SE Old Bethel Road…
