WOODBRIDGE, Va. (DC News Now) — An Alexandria man was arrested Thursday after allegedly assaulting an officer during his arrest in a hit-and-run investigation, according to the Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD).
Police said officers responded shortly before 5:30 a.m. to reports of a crash in the 4700 block of Grand Masters Way in Woodbridge.
At the scene, officers determined that a driver had struck a parked vehicle before running from the area.
