ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The City of Asheville told News 13 on Nov. 20 that it has chosen a new city manager.
The new city manager will replace Debra Campbell, who announced in February that she was retiring. The new city manager will be announced by the city on Dec. 5, which is the final day Campbell will be in office.
“A nationwide search resulted in many interested and excellent applicants. We’re pleased Council members were able to identify a candidate from that pool, and we look forward to their announcement December 5 at the completion of the hiring process,” City of Asheville spokesperson Kim Miller wrote in an email to News 13…
