Convicted child molester Deandre Weston sentenced to 120 years to life in prison

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Deandre Weston, a convicted child molester, has been sentenced to 120 years to life in prison, the Kern County District Attorney announced Friday.

Weston was convicted last month on multiple charges, including two counts of oral copulation of a child under 10, two counts of sexual penetration with a child under 10, and one count of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.

The crimes occurred over four years, from 2017 to 2021, during which Weston repeatedly molested the victim, who was between the ages of 6 and 10. The victim reported the abuse to a school teacher, prompting an investigation by the Bakersfield Police Department and Weston’s arrest…
