Sen. Slotkin reports bomb threat targeted her home

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin reports Michigan State Police were called out to her home in response to a bomb threat Friday evening.

According to a social media post from her office, Slotkin was not home at the time, and after searching the property, MSP reported that no one was in danger.

The threat comes on the heels of controversy regarding a video Slotkin and several other Democratic lawmakers posted on social media Tuesday saying the Trump administration “is pitting our uniformed military against American citizens,” and calling for service members to “refuse illegal orders” and “stand up for our laws.”
