NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Thanksgiving is less than a week away, but Metro Nashville Public Schools has already doled out food for families in need ahead of the annual holiday feast.
From fresh produce to frozen turkeys, MNPS and the Community Achieves department has given away dozens of food boxes this week. Earlier on Friday, Nov. 21, MNPS handed out food at Maplewood High School.
Friday’s was the final giveaway from MNPS, after previous giveaways were held at Hickman Elementary School, Antioch High School, and Alex Green Elementary School earlier this month.
