‘Highly aggressive’ behavior leads to man’s arrest on domestic violence, assault charges, Myrtle Beach police say

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A 27-year-old man recently hit a woman multiple times in the face with his fists and displayed other “highly aggressive” behavior during an argument while her children were present, according to a Myrtle Beach police incident report.

Dionte Donald Brown was arrested Monday night and booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. As of Friday afternoon, he remained in jail on a $5,600 bond after being charged with second-degree domestic violence, third-degree assault and battery and malicious injury to personal property with a value between $1,000 and $5,000, according to online jail records.

Officers found Brown lying on the sidewalk with several cuts to his arms and legs after they responded Monday night to a disturbance in the area of 19th Avenue and Kings Highway, the report said. Witnesses said he had been involved in a disturbance at nearby Withers Drive…
