(KRON) — A grand jury has indicted a Napa man who is suspected of killing a 33-year-old woman pregnant with twins, the Napa County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.
The accused killer, 41-year-old Ernie Victor Solis, was indicted by a Napa County Criminal Grand Jury on Wednesday following a three-day hearing. Solis faces three counts of murder along with a special allegation of multiple murder, which carries the possibility of life imprisonment without parole or the death penalty, according to prosecutors.
“Criminal Grand Jury indictments are relatively rare in Napa County and are generally reserved for the most serious and complex cases,” the DA’s office said.
Prosecutors alleged that Solis stabbed Hailey Privett and her unborn twins to death at her Dale Drive home on the morning of June 8. Solis was quickly identified by the Napa Police Department as a primary suspect in the triple-slaying and was arrested the following day…
