MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Cancer patients in Myrtle Beach now have a new location for treatment as the Coastal Cancer Center celebrated the opening of a new radiation oncology building.
The facility, located off 38th Ave. North aims to accommodate the Grand Strand’s growth and reduce travel burdens for patients.
Dr. Emily Touloukian of the Coastal Cancer Center said, “A cancer diagnosis is a very stressful time in someone’s life. If we can alleviate some of that stress by allowing patients to be treated close to home, surrounded by their friends, family, and community, it’s an absolute win.”…
