Orlando, FL – Drivers in Central Florida are being urged to plan ahead today as a Special Event Zone remains active across several major roadways in Orange County. The order, issued in connection with Florida’s Classic Weekend events, will stay in effect until 8 a.m. Monday, November 24, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s office, the Special Event Zone was established to reduce the risk of severe traffic congestion tied to unpermitted gatherings or large-scale meetups often organized through social media.
