AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Clovis Police Department is investigating an alleged shooting that was reported Thursday evening in the 1300 block of Hickory Street.
According to Clovis PD, on Nov. 20, at about 7:32 pm, dispatch received a 911 call in regards to a person with a gunshot wound. The caller said a relative was shot in the neck, stating that someone had driven by the home and shot him. Clovis Police Officers and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene.

When police arrived, they found a 23-year-old man with a wound in his neck. He was stabilized and taken to an area hospital before being taken to a hospital in Lubbock.
Clovis PD said officers noted a pistol against a fence in the yard, and neighbors in the area said they did not hear any gunfire…
