As I sit here typing this, I can see an Allman Brothers poster in my peripheral vision. When I was growing up, The Allman Brothers were spoken of in the same breath as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Yes, and the other founding fathers of hard rock. They represented the blues-and-country cousin wing in that mansion built from rock and roll.
