ST. LOUIS – The FBI announced hundreds of arrests on Friday as part of Operation Summer Heat.
“Summer Heat was an enormous success,” FBI co-deputy director Andrew Bailey said.
Bailey joined Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) on Friday at the FBI St. Louis Office to discuss the agency’s surge to fight violent crime. They announced that Operation Summer Heat included 204 new investigations, 276 arrests, 111 weapons recovered, 259,699 grams of meth and 2,604 grams of fentanyl seized throughout the region…
