ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The owners of one of Rockford’s oldest roller rinks, Skateland, announced the sale of the business after 33 years.
“After 33 unforgettable years of laughter, music, and having one of the best ‘jobs’ ever, the time has come for us to close this chapter and transition out of the rink,” Susie and Phil Smalley wrote on Facebook.
The pair announced their plans to retire and sell the skating rink on December 1st. A new owner was not announced…
