K9 Edo sniffs out massive meth haul during San Antonio-area traffic stop, DPS says

A routine traffic stop in Bexar County turned into a major drug bust after K9 Edo sniffed out more than 400 ounces of methamphetamine, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS said Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) Troopers pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation when the driver admitted he had “some kind of drugs” inside.

Edo was brought in and alerted almost instantly, leading troopers to roughly 413 ounces of meth hidden in the vehicle.
