The Fraternal Order of Police, Glendale Lodge 12, will lead its annual frozen turkey drive this year from 7 to 9 a.m. the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Trucks will be staged in front of all three Glendale Police stations (Main, Gateway, Foothills) with volunteers accepting frozen turkeys, canned food and cash donations. Immediately following the drive, 100% of the proceeds will be delivered to the Hope For Hunger Food Bank in Glendale.
Last year, FOP Lodge 12 was able to deliver to Hope For Hunger 62 frozen turkeys, along with canned food and $342 in cash. This year, the FOP wants to go bigger so they may go in front of a few Glendale grocery stores on Nov. 25…
