Arrest made in connection to Mohawk Hudson Bike Trail homicide

MENANDS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A suspect has been arrested in connection to the April 2024 homicide along the bike trail path in Menands. Sources tell NEWS10 the suspect will be arraigned in Albany County Court on Monday, Nov. 24 in relation to the death of Daniel Frament.

Frament, 76, of Troy, was found injured and unresponsive on April 18, 2024 on the Mohawk Hudson Bike Trail. He died at the scene.

An autopsy determined the cause of death to be severe head trauma, and his death was ruled a homicide.
