Student, 17, slashed in head, neck in Bronx high school: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 17-year-old student was slashed in the head and neck with a scalpel inside a Bronx high school on Friday, police and sources said.

The boy was attacked at Roosevelt High School on East Fordham Road at around 11:45 a.m., according to the NYPD. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two other students were taken into custody, and the charges were pending, police said.
