Suspect hospitalized after Hamilton County deputies open fire at Chattanooga gas station

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — We’re working to learn more about a person who was shot by 2 deputies at a Chattanooga gas station early Saturday morning. The person went to the hospital, and neither deputy was hurt.

The incident happened at about 1 a.m. at a gas station at the intersection of Highway 58 and Murray Hills Drive, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
