CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Oratorio Society of Virginia will present its annual Christmas at The Paramount on Dec. 20.
This year’s concert features a performance of Camille Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio for chorus, string orchestra, organ and harp. Soloists from the chorus will be joined by guests Brain Thorsett (tenor) and Veronica Siebert (mezzo).
The program will also feature arrangements of “Christmas in Killarney” and “In Dulci Jubilo,” choral works by Gustav Holst, and Michael Slon, along with traditional carols “O Come, All Ye Faithful” and “Joy to the World.” The program also includes sing-along carols…
