CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – State Representative Melanie Miller, (R) Ashland, announced Thursday that House Bill 4885, known as the Baby Olivia Act, passed the Ohio House of Representatives and now goes to the Senate.
The bill would require public schools to begin showing fetal development videos to students beginning in 5th grade. The curriculum includes an ultrasound video and one other from a selection of videos including one called “Meet Baby Olivia.”

Miller told Fox 8 on Friday that the schools have the right to choose which classes the videos are shown in, and which video to show. Other options are produced by National Geographic, while Meet Baby Olivia is produced by a pro-life group, she said.
