Dr. Hisham Bahmad, a molecular genetic pathology fellow at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, has been named a 2025 40 Under Forty honoree by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). The award was announced at the ASCP annual meeting in November and recognizes Dr. Bahmad’s work in pathology.
Dr. Bahmad focuses on integrating molecular findings with histopathology to improve cancer diagnosis and management. He is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and has advanced training in molecular diagnostics, translational research, and precision oncology.
