The fireworks display had just finished and members of the U.S. Marine Corps in full uniform gathered near second base at Blue Wahoos Stadium for a keepsake photo.
It created a poignant moment Nov. 17 at the annual Blue Angels/Marine Corps Ball which occurred at the stadium in this 250th anniversary of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps formation.
