Police officer in Maryland hit by car while helping motorist

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md (7News) — A police officer in Maryland was hurt after getting hit by a car while helping a disabled motorist.

A Berwyn Heights Police Department (BHPD) officer was hit around 7:45 p.m. on Friday in the City of Greenbelt on eastbound Greenbelt Road close to the intersection with Kenilworth Avenue, according to police.
