Yesterday evening turned deadly in a Fort Worth neighborhood when gunfire on Northwest 24th Street left one person dead and another wounded, according to police.
Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to the 2500 block of Northwest 24th Street, where they found two people with gunshot wounds. One victim died at the scene. The second was taken to a hospital with injuries that investigators described as non-life-threatening.
