ST. LOUIS – Liya, an 11-year-old girl living in Florissant, had her Make-A-Wish dream granted Friday.
Liya is battling an aggressive form of cancer, which prompted a visit from Make-A-Wish Missouri and Kansas. She merely asked the organization for an afternoon of fun with her family in the backyard, where they could kick around the soccer ball—one of Liya’s favorite things—and spend some time together.
But Make-A-Wish wanted to do more…
